Administers skilled nursing care to patients according to their physical and emotional needs and in accordance with the medical plan of care to include assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the care of all assigned patients in the center as appropriate.
Assists MD/NP/PA during examinations and treatments, while maintaining patient confidentiality in all encounters.
Administers medications, collects specimens by proper procedure, and performs EKGs at the request of the provider.
Records patient information in appropriate medical records and lab logs.
Assists with supply ordering, medical record maintenance, and patient flow through the clinic.
Assists in providing PI reports for improving the quality of patient care.
Performs all other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Education and Experience:
Holds a Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of South Carolina.
Current BLS certification.
